Emerson Hydrogen Blending Automation solution ensures the safe and consistent blending of hydrogen with the natural gas network to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Injecting hydrogen into an existing gas network presents several challenges such as ensuring the consistent blending of hydrogen is very important for using the natural gas network to safely distribute hydrogen, the injection pressures are right to prevent backflow of pipeline gas to the hydrogen production facility, and/or create unwanted turbulence in the pipeline, ensure that right amount of odorization is achieved, ensure that the custody transfer metering is highly reliable, etc. Emerson has the expertise to address these challenges and help customers achieve their decarbonization objectives safely, meeting regulatory requirements, on time and within budget.
