Emerson Life Science Landscape and Roadmap
The Life Sciences industry is experiencing significant changes in manufacturing techniques, influencing trends and adoption of new enabling technologies. There is also an increasing need to shorten product development lifecycle durations, time taken to commercial manufacture and a flexibility to maximise facility utilisation. Emerson are continuing to develop technologies, capabilities and solutions to support the Life Sciences industry achieve these requirements.
10:40 – 11:10
Connecting Development and  Manufacturing Operations
In this session we will look at three customers use cases following the drug product lifecycle. We will touch on how digitalisation in clinical trials can be used to achieve top performance. Then we will look on how tech transfers can be streamlined using our solutions. In the last case we look at how to debottleneck a facility during the ramp up phase towards full capacity production.

Taking a User-First Approach to Designing your Plant Operations Platforms
As the use of GMP data lakes / data marts continues to expand, we may find ourselves flooded with data but still unable to access the information needed to make critical decisions. In addition, even with all this data, Users still find good reasons to use ancillary spreadsheets and similar tools to track and share the information they need to do their jobs.  During this presentation we will look at a supplemental approach to gathering information consumption requirements, designed to identify platform-independent requirements.  We will also look at how our Customers are leveraging Plantweb™ Optics and other tools to consolidate and contextualise data into information required to make critical decisions.
12:00 – 12:30
Solution for valve piloting becoming a standard and OEM trusting Emerson solution for Single Use Applications
In this session we will present you two case studies; To solve flexibility and fast track project constraints and reduce architecture pains where possible, a process valve piloting solution was developed that has now become a standardised product for the end-user on all projects.  Resource and speed are key factors in project execution; we will demonstrate how Emerson can provide reliable and efficient solutions to solve application constraints.
12:30 – 13:30
Lunch and EXPO
13:30 – 13:35
Afternoon Introduction
13:35 – 14:05
Improving your asset performance and equipment utilisation using data-centric systems
Better visibility into key operations data is essential to improve efficiency, increase plant and personnel safety, and support predictive Maintenance strategies.  How do we leverage data from Smart Instrumentation, Vibration Monitoring, Data Analytica and beyond to make informed decisions that will optimise the utilisation of assets and ultimately increase production?
14:05 – 14:25
Guideline to Wireless Instrumentation in LifeSciences
During this session we will do a short introduction on WirelessHART and present several success stories in Life Science industries. The success stories cover Steam Trap Monitoring up to Mobile Worker applications and several applications in between like equipment reliability and temperature measurements in clean rooms.
14:25 – 14:45

14:45 – 15:15
Predictive Maintenance  and Remote Calibration via AMS Device Manager/DeltaV
Are you in a reactive or predictive mode? Is your flow device measuring accurately? How do you calibrate e.g. your pH sensor? In this presentation we will show you how easy it is to check flow meters and see the deviations with AMS/DeltaV. We will even show commissioning and loop calibration of a Single Use pH-Sensor.
15:15 – 15:45
What's new and coming next in the DeltaV DCS?
Each release of the DeltaV DCS brings innovative technologies that optimise operational efficiency. Take this opportunity to learn what’s inside the latest feature pack including how it’s easier to bring in spectral waveform data, support for high-density cards making PLC migrations easier, HMI improvements, and integrating Module Type Packages into DeltaV. Looking further ahead, we’ll also cover what’s planned in the next major release.
