Taking a User-First Approach to Designing your Plant Operations Platforms

As the use of GMP data lakes / data marts continues to expand, we may find ourselves flooded with data but still unable to access the information needed to make critical decisions. In addition, even with all this data, Users still find good reasons to use ancillary spreadsheets and similar tools to track and share the information they need to do their jobs. During this presentation we will look at a supplemental approach to gathering information consumption requirements, designed to identify platform-independent requirements. We will also look at how our Customers are leveraging Plantweb™ Optics and other tools to consolidate and contextualise data into information required to make critical decisions.

In this session we will present you two case studies; To solve flexibility and fast track project constraints and reduce architecture pains where possible, a process valve piloting solution was developed that has now become a standardised product for the end-user on all projects. Resource and speed are key factors in project execution; we will demonstrate how Emerson can provide reliable and efficient solutions to solve application constraints.

Predictive Maintenance and Remote Calibration via AMS Device Manager/DeltaV

Are you in a reactive or predictive mode? Is your flow device measuring accurately? How do you calibrate e.g. your pH sensor? In this presentation we will show you how easy it is to check flow meters and see the deviations with AMS/DeltaV. We will even show commissioning and loop calibration of a Single Use pH-Sensor.
