Dear Reader,

Welcome to the new edition of the Emerson Express. It is very special times indeed, trust everyone is still coping with the pandemic in a safe, still productive manner. Hopefully we will return to normal life again in a not too distant future, we see declining infection rates, and the vaccination program seems to be in good progress in all of our countries. Well into the «last lap» of the pandemic, we still need to be alert and observe relevant rules and regulations.

Despite of the ongoing pandemic, activity level is still high, both within new projects and opportunities as well as operational support, maintenance, and upgrades. The pandemic also has driven an increased interest for our remote / connected services, a set of technologies and work processes enabling proper support and service without physical presence at the site.

To better communicate with our customers at all levels, we are in the process of introducing “MyEmerson”. This toolset will provide you as user both very quick response in the quotation process, early access to 3D drawings and other relevant documentation. Furthermore, the MyEmerson will enable a more streamlined buying process from purchase order through the manufacturing phase through to delivery, receipt and installation / startup. We would like to welcome customers to look at the functionality and opportunities embedded in the MyEmerson portal, please take contact if this is of interest to you.

The Emerson User Exchange 2021 arranged in March/April was a great success with nearly 5000 participants enlisted from all over Europe. The digital event included nearly 200 presentations on how automation challenges can be solved, many of these presentations given by our users. The presentations are still available online, please log on and revisit presentations of special interest, alternatively see presentations you missed during the live event.
